How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. That Collective Rights Approach, which you basically said in your interpretation of the Second Amendment stood for 32 years. However, in 2008 that interpretation was struck down in a DC court, returning the belief in individual rights to bear arms and to protect the populace from an oppressive government if necessary.

EMP would do it! Are you prepared? Do you have a vehicle without a computer! Do you have access to fresh water and do you know how to preserve food without electricity? I am, and I do on all the other counts. Read up and learn.
With the Power Grid down, there would be and end to food and water in most of the country.
