its not that there will be no electricity, its the violent reaction emp can give electronics, for example the last emp came from a cme from the sun, thus destroying the electronics we had 250 years ago. imagine being in your home when the wall sockets start exploding killing anyone near by the microwave blows up and so on, no communication so we go back in time where everything is done manually, and communication will be done by pen and paper again.
