How could you deal with a highly armed American populace all at once if you wanted to take down the country? Why isn’t Barack Obama impeached or arrested yet? How could you get rid of 90% of the American population without ever setting foot on our soil?
All those questions could very well have the same answer: an EMP attack.
An Electromagnetic Pulse is a short burst of energy that has the ability to completely fry any and all electronics and can be brought about by a exploding a nuclear device at high altitude (North Korea is capable of doing this right now) or even just by a solar flare. A cyber attack or simple physical assault could also take down our highly vulnerable grid.
Such an event would send us all back to the stone age as every single electronic device, including the power grid, would be completely destroyed.

I saw this idiocy before….it will harm no one, just unshielded electronics (assuming it harm them….)….em pulses are not harmful to people (or animals, plants, microbes……unfortunately, not to idiots either……)
How would an emp kill 90% of americans? How could you even hope to generate an emp large enough or coordinate strikes to hit every relevant electronic target? Not even close to a threat.
It’s Line of Sight… so the higher it is, the more deadly. It could conceivably cover nearly all of North America.

My younger brother is an Electrical Engineer for Southwester Electric Power Company, headquarted in Mount Pleasant, Texas. We (my brother and his crews) are in the proecss of improving our power-grid, by building a new and larger electrical power grid throughout our city, working hard for the past several months. The number of 80 ft Power Poles are being installed with larger power lines and transformers, tying the various main lines together …it makes for a beautiful grid. One only need dfrive the many streets beginning at the sub stations and outward. The improvements are highly visible. So, Judge Jenine, here in Mt Pleasant, Texas things are on the move. Keep knocking and more will follow suit.
