an EMP attack, large enough to disable the United States, would in all probability, take down the entire world wide network. as such would be counterproductive to any adversary.

When people can’t use an ATM to get CASH to purchase FOOD, or use their EBT card to purchase food, they will become the zombie people. There are going to be tens of millions that do not have 2 weeks of food stored to provide for their families.
