Most police officers do an amazing job at what they do: protecting and serving the American people. Despite this, there is a serious problem with some cops assuming that their badges grant them extra rights. Last year, police killed 1,100 Americans. The first five months of 2015 saw 476 deaths at the hands of American police, with over 1,100 predicted by the end of the year.
You may think that these numbers seem low, considering there are over 300 million Americans. But, when you consider the killing rate of our police officers in comparison with the law enforcement of other countries, it is very embarrassing.
Japanese police killed one person last year in a country with over 100 million citizens. Icelandic police only killed one person in its entire history. And, to top if off, American police have a murder rate worst than the homicide rates of the two most violent countries in the world.

Wow America is the creator of all Wars to exist in the World and they wonder why their police forces are being how they are. My gosh it seems to be you don’t have to actually be a criminal for them to open fire at you. It seems to be if you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time they shoot you. Wtf is with that??? Who’s saving the people from the Police then???
some elect have appointed themselves to set in judgement of the rest of us and us the police forces to do their bidding. the use the police forces as revenuers to shake us down for money, they take our poperty, and have stripped every cons$#%&!@*utional right that protected Americans from this.
What choice do they have?
Here are a couple facts inimical to this “out of control police as bloodthirsty thugs” narrative:
There are 308,000,000 people in the U.S.
In 2014 11,000 people were killed by police.
308,000,000/11,000= one in 208.000 people in the U.S. We’re killed by police in 2014.
There are 800,000 law enforcement officers in the U.S. In 2014 59 were murdered in the line of duty.
800,000/59= one in 13,000 law enforcement officers murdered in the line of duty.
208,000/13,000= in the U.S. law enforcement officers are 22 TIMES MORE LIKELY to be murdered in the line of duty than people are to be killed by the police.
Joah Makaih Snowden Mike is correct. How do you explain thugs doing strong armed robbery then attacking police? How do you explain police being murdered for eating lunch? How do you explain smart mouth teens crashing a private pool party then fighting when ordered to leave? Oh, wait….you cant. That’s because they are not taught respect for the law. They are taught what belongs to others also belongs to them.

Who’s doing the statistical comparisons. Sounds like a matter of democrats opinion. They love to shame and bash America.
God bless our law enforcement!
Things like this are becoming very pervasive in popular culture. There is so much sensationalism that it seems more and more like propaganda. A lot of people seem to accept unsubstantiated innuendo of police abuse as gospel. That becomes the basis of rationalization for people to ambush & $#%&!@*ault police officers, resist arrest, and to do other very stupid things to make police contacts more dangerous for everyone involved.
