Alleged cop killer Shannon Miles faces the death penalty for the killing of Harris County Deputy Darren Goforth. District Attorney Devon Anderson read the charges, that included shooting the deputy a total of fifteen times.
Miles allegedly shot the peace officer execution-style at a gas station last Friday night while the officer was filling his patrol car gas station in northwest Houston.

Thank You Mr. Blanton. I worked at TDCJ Prison for fourteen years, now retired. I saw a lot while working in the Education Dept. as Secretary III to the Principal. There were Black and White Officers working together, most of the time there were no problems, if there were they were corrected. Just so sad that this Officer was executed the way he was. My Mother always said our days are numbered and when its your time, you go when God calls you home. Thank You again, the best to you always.
