This rat trap anyone can build. You make it once and it catches many rats.
A bucket, some peanut butter, a pipe and some water. Yup, that’s pretty simple.
One improvement suggested by someone using this trap is to add antifreeze to the water, which instantly kills the rats.

They used this type of trap back in the 1800’s except instead of a can they used an off balance it was a paddle like thing with rounded ends and the middle was wide once the mouse or rat was on it they flipped into the bucket of water and drown

Antifreeze does NOT kill immediately. The animal will die very slowly over the next week or two of kidney failure
I made it and it works great. Cheese is more attractive then peanut butter.
Antifreeze is not the poison it used to be. Because of evil people throwing meat soaked in it to annoying dogs and such in the past they re engineered it to be almost non toxic.
