This rat trap anyone can build. You make it once and it catches many rats.
A bucket, some peanut butter, a pipe and some water. Yup, that’s pretty simple.
One improvement suggested by someone using this trap is to add antifreeze to the water, which instantly kills the rats.
I don’t like the antifreeze idea, but I did add a little soap to make it slippery. mixed results.

Do not add antifreez!! Cats and dogs love that stuff. Cats particularly.

I have a live trap. They go in and I remove them from my house alive.. All I know about anti-freeze is it is a slow and painful death to humans and animals.
