Democrat: “Some Kids are Unwanted, So You Kill Them Now or You Kill Them Later”

Alabama state Rep. John Rogers (D) created a firestorm after saying some “kids are unwanted” so you “kill them now or kill them later” in an argument against House Bill 314, which has made abortion a felony for doctors with a sentence of up to 99 years in prison.

“Some kids are unwanted, so you kill them now or kill them later,” Rogers said Tuesday before the bill’s vote in the House. “You bring them into the world unwanted, unloved, then you send them to the electric chair. So you kill them now or you kill them later.”

“But the bottom line is that I think we shouldn’t be making this decision,” he continued. “I’m not about to be the male to tell a woman what to do with her body. She has a right to make that decision herself.”

Rogers responded to Donald Trump Jr. who called the comments “stomach churning” by saying the President’s son should have been aborted.
