According to both a new study and the head of the Federal Reserve, 90% of all US household are poorer than they were back in 1987.
Where did the money go? It didn’t just evaporate.

NO doubt….. in 1987 my husband worked a modest job…..we had a house and 2 children and I was a stay home mom and we made it…..no problem…..now I have to depend on credit cards to eat and i work a f/t job after a college education

that is for sure , we were paying a double mortgage, a boat payment ,insurance . and utilities of over 500 a month, and still had money to have weekly recreation and a vacation every year, and we ate like royalty.. on less money than we have now . and to day we are struggeling to pay rent in the ghetto and eat at all
