The U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee just approved a $5.508 billion dollar DHS budget for 2015. $87 million of that is to be used just to fly them around the country.
This is far above the amount needed to send all these illegals home it becomes so obvious that this is intended to destroy our country. The extreme blatantcy tells us we´re getting closer to the ´main event´.
HOUSTON, Texas–The U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee approved a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 that includes $5.508 billion for Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations. Included in that amount is more than $87 million for the transportation of illegal immigrants–most often via plane–from the U.S.-Mexico border to federal facilities around the nation.The FY 2015 bill summary states that the federal government will provide “$87.6 million above the request for the transportation of unaccompanied immigrant children– often via commercial or charter aircraft – from DHS custody to the legally required shelters operated by the Office of Refugee Resettlement within Department of Health and Human Services.”
A DHS request for “escort services for unaccompanied alien children,” posted online in January, claimed that 50 percent of transported foreign minors are brought to interior U.S. cities via commercial planes. The others are transported via local ground transport and ICE charter air crafts.
Many U.S. citizens remain outraged that instead of turning illegal immigrants away at the border, tax dollars are being used to relocate foreigners to cities all around the nation. Upon arrival at federal housing units, the migrants receive more taxpayer subsidized amenities including housing, food, education, vocational training, recreation, and even legal counsel. They often continue to receive such benefits until they are released onto U.S. soil with a Notice to Appear for an immigration court hearing.

The most common concerns with the current state of affairs at the border seem to be:
– drug smugglers
– welfare
– terrorists
Allow me to debunk. Ahem……
“large amounts of drugs are coming into our country because of it” is such an ignorant statement you can make when it comes to the cocaine entering our country when you consider the fact that it is now KNOWN that we are working with at least 1 major cartel, and the cia has been selling coke since the 80s.
And every terrorist EVER has been here 100% legally. 18 of the 24 hijackers on 9/11 were Saudi, and here with permission from the us government (yet we invaded afghanistan and iraq somehow….? Conversation for another day…. ).
I agree that securing the border is important, but to lash out at the people that are trying to escape a drug war that WE HELP FINANCE is just wrong. You want to protest something worthwhile? Protest the billions of corporate tax incentives handed out every year to companies that pay NOTHING in taxes. Or how bout the $200 million that we sent to Israel this week with practically no debate. Regardless of where you stand on the conflict in Gaza (not getting into it), we can all agree that the 2nd largest army in the world doesn’t need any more help bombing a nation without an air Force back to the stone age (upgrade?). All the money our government pisses away in this country each year is more than enough to equip the border properly AND take care of any refugees that seek the same thing your ancestors did when they came to this country.
This is classic divide and conquer technique used to divide the masses and distract from the real issues that are destroying this country.
In addition to that, Governor Rick Perry has issued numbers that are shocking to say the least in regards to illegals. Shocking mostly because he (admittedly upon closer inspection of where he got the numbers) grouped together crime statistic for both legal and illegal immigrants. Furthermore, any numbers put out in the number of illegals that get through ARE ESTIMATED AND INFLATED so that requesting a larger budget is justifiable. And even those numbers show a DECREASE in illegal immigration this year. The reports themselves use the words “estimate”, and “speculation” more than the Bush administration used the word “terrorism”.
Wake up. This is a diversion meant to further build up the walls not of any border, but walls between our fellow man. The only immigration “crisis” in this country is how bad first world industry has exploited and f*cked over the Central American region. They flood into this country seeking asylum from issues we helped create. Whether it’s worker and land exploitation from Coca-Cola and Dole, financing a major cartel (which helps destabilize systems of government), or privatizing water with promises of improvements that never happen. We helped create the socio-economic mess down there, and have no right to hold the people trying to escape that mess as the enemy.
