Except for a few experts watching and forecasting Hitler’s actions, the regular citizens would have called Hitler marching on Europe as “preposterous”.

I seriously doubt more than a few of these would happen simultaneously. However, if even one were to happen, I and many others I know would take up our arms, defeat the foreign enemy, and then execute those responsible for allowing it to happen and any who protest the executions. Bring it on.
