Through their anti-corruption non-profit organization called the Edgar County Watchdogs, they show the rest of America how we as a people need to take back our government.

That’s a low blow Dave Gold, I’m not a vet and never served in the military but this guy did and he should be honored. He fought for the freedoms that you have right now. I’ll pay taxes for veterans any day because they deserve more than that. We could have it worse. We could live in fear for our lives everyday like some other countries do. Do you want that? You use the word lazy. Come on, please. Like you’ve never been lazy in your lifetime. Quit casting stones at issues that you obviously don’t comprehend.

Might wanna brush up on the law before speaking… just saying. A private citizen has arrest and detain powers for crimes committed with the presence of said citizen.

Sure but try that on an armed citizen. What’s gonna hsppen is some guy getting killed because another guy defends himself .my first reaction would be who rhe fuk are you ? And as soon as the stranger / perp put his hands on me i would defend myself . That’s why its law enforcement job to detain and arrest. Now in special cir$#%&!@*stances i truly see this happening …maybe detaining a suspect at gun point ..but not trying to arrest. Get myself shot
I am an armed citizen… and if I broke the law then I would be taken into custody without issues. If the arrest was unlawful… then that is false imprisonment and can file crinial charges and/or civil lawsuit against the arresting citizen. Only a hot head would pull a weapon in that cir$#%&!@*stances.. and that person will be faced with the appropriate criminal charges for introducing a firearm.

Drawing a weapon would be absolutely a last resort .and only if i were physically detained. .that’s $#%&!@*ault. But i promise you no civilian is detaining me or arresting me. Plain and simple.
