It seems the progressive left is renewing its efforts to deprive Americans of their right to defend themselves by making it easier for authorities to confiscate their firearms.
11 states are currently considering measures that would empower judges to bar citizens from owning guns if they determine the citizen in question poses a “threat” to themselves or others. The proposed measures, called Gun Violence Restraining Order, will permit police to raid homes and seize people’s firearms without so much as informing them and prohibit targeted individuals from purchasing guns and ammo.

Good
Everyone must carry a gun. Problem solved. The honest nonviolent people would outnumber the insane and criminals. Theyd think twice. And as far as someone killing themself taking their guns is just ignorant. There are a thousand ways to die. If the police would quit wasting resources focusing on tickets and people driving they would have sufficient time and manpower to actually catch violent people. The system is all$#%&!@*backwards.
Bring it here in PA !!!!
We have this in my state. All someone has to do is call and report that they don’t feel safe around a person. They will take your guns and permit and there is currently a 2 year backlog to appeal it.
So is a registry and yet CT has had one in place for at least 10 years. Every gun has to be registered with the state.
There is a huge backlog. This happens in CT. You lose everything until you can prove it was a made up charge. You can’t have a gun without a permit so even if the judge sides with you, there is a 2 year backlog with the licensing agency to get your case heard to get your permit back.
Dont bring that$#%&!@*to my state! Keep your asses in the liberal states.
In CT, all someone has to do is make a call and say they don’t feel safe. The permit is pulled, guns confiscated and the process to prove you are not a danger can take up to 2 years to be settled.
Good luck
Unfortunately that’s eleven states that will be holding alot of funerals for both their citizens and their law enforcement officers. Sad days are coming
