The Army’s The 101st Airborne is a modular light infantry division trained for air assault operations.
But now their mission has changed to being thrown into the middle of a chaotic Ebola-infested West Africa,
Does this sound at all how we want to treat our boys who are out there giving everything for their country?
And to add insult to injury, they won’t be receiving hazmat suits to protect them from this disease.

Maybe this will help quell some of the hysteria posted here:
U.S. troops will not provide direct care to patients infected with the Ebola virus, according to the Pentagon.
The Army’s 101st Airborne Division, based at Fort Campbell, Ky., will provide about 700 of the 1,400 soldiers heading to Liberia this month, while the other 700 will be mostly combat engineers culled from Army units across the force, Defense Department spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said. The soldiers will be among the total 3,000 U.S. troops whom the Pentagon plans to send into West Africa this fall.
About 300 of the troops from the 101st Airborne will come from the division headquarters, and they will serve as the Joint Force Command for the mission. They are expected to arrive by the end of October.
The U.S. military mission will include building 17 100-bed hospital facilities and a health care facility for infected physicians and health care workers.
Why not ???
It’s not right.
Believe me obama has an agenda for sending our troops over there and as always it is probably not a good one.
That is stupid
Don’t go! What can they do? Send you to Africa with no Hazmat suit
bad idea for sure
They should all refuse to go unless he goes with them.
“Uhhh we gonna go lava surfing but no we don’t have no protective gear cuz the prezzydent don’t think we need it none.”
That’s the most stupid thing I have ever heard .
Obama and family should be the first sent there to monitor the actions taken by local people and once the soldiers have had a four year college education on handling the situation then and only
Then once these men completed the education should they be allowed to go. These soldiers are not trained to fight Ebola and they must be trained .
1 secure our borders
2 allow no one to go to these places fighting
Ebola and allow no one to leave there headed to the United States .
3 if you voluntarily go to Africa on a humanitarian gesture and contact the Ebola virus you will remain there in Africa until you are cured of the virus and if you die from this contact, YOU will be Buried in Africa to protect this American people from this virus and YOU will sign a legal statement stating and Indicating that this was explained to You and were told the results expected by you.
