The joke of being Woke nowadays is that in order to represent a Leftist point-of-view, you don’t actually have to make sense…nor do you even have to have clarity of judgment, intent or even purpose.
Today, being Woke only requires that you maintain the status quo of utter failure in your own town or county by pointing out the successes of those entities who are deemed to be un-Woke.
San Francisco has built a solid reputation of ineptitude, deceptive legislation and corruption over the years, particularly during the early turn of the 21st Century when Gavin Newsom (current Governor of the state of California) was a mere mayor of the Golden Gate City.
In 2008, San Francisco, under the captaincy of Gavin Newsom, broke budgetary records:
“San Francisco’s budget deficit for next year has grown to $575.6 million – equal to nearly half the city’s discretionary spending account. It’s a financial crisis Mayor Gavin Newsom called one of the worst the city has experienced since the 1930s.”
And now he’s the Governor.
Another luminary has been in office for a stunning 32 years (and counting) while this city and county have foundered and drowned in debt. US Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and current Speaker of the House has allowed a once-prospering city to be transformed into a literal cesspool of filth, depravity and disease. Yet, she is one of the first people to point out what a terrible job our president is doing.
Enter San Francisco’s mighty Board of Supervisors with just about the cumulative brainpower of an incandescent light bulb, who today has unanimously voted to condemn the NRA by designating them as a hate group and worse, a “Domestic Terrorist Organization!”

The resolution claims that the NRA incites and arms those who would use guns in acts of mass terrorism driven by hatred.
Though the resolution mentions the U.S. Constitution, it fails to mention the Second Amendment.
Oakland-based Fox affiliate KTVU-2 quoted a statement by the NRA: “This ludicrous stunt by the Board of Supervisors is an effort to distract from the real problems facing San Francisco, such as rampant homelessness, drug abuse and skyrocketing petty crime, to name a few. The NRA will continue working to protect the constitutional rights of all freedom-loving Americans.”
Although many have called this a petty stunt, it does have some teeth, not immediately apparent from a superficial viewpoint.
The resolution punishes any and all San Francisco City and County businesses that do business with the NRA! In essence, this resolution seeks to out and boycott anyone who has financial and business transactions (despite how minimal they may be) with the 2nd Amendment defenders and will do everything in their power to destroy these business owners and their families’ right to liberty.
Meanwhile, despite their righteous indignation and hyper-Woke attitudes, the high and mighty on the pedestal of the Board of Supervisors of San Francisco refuse to look down upon their own den of despair that exists within the city limits…one that is infested with rats, roaches, human waste, contaminated needles, and petty crime that has caused residents with and without an income to fear for their safety.
