So, the Committee is now staff with not one or two, but three of the Obama people who will allow this deal with Russia to go through. The FBI at this point sees the pattern and realizes that this Uranium One deal is about to go down, so it acts in order to get some of the glory before the deal is signed and the opportunity slips from their grasp. They move in and make a mass arrest of the Russian spies involved in the Rosatom deal and announce that they’ve made the largest bust of foreign espionage in the history of the Bureau.
Normally in situations like this, Mueller would then attempt to interrogate and “turn” the spies, meaning that they would be able to extract enough information from them and then use this information to compromise the spy to the point where they could employ the informant to work in counterintelligence operations. Before that could happen, the strangest thing occurred.
Hillary Rodham-Clinton stepped in and announced to Mueller that she was now handling the spies extradition to Moscow! That’s right. She negotiated with the Kremlin to have these spies removed from the US and returned to Russia in exchange for two older men who were accused of spying in Russia and then, not long after, presented the big, plastic, red button to Sergey Lavrov in the now-infamous Russian Reset photo-op that was both completely comical for the Russians and embarrassing for the Secretary of State. Rumor has it that the Russian word printed on the plastic button that was later handed to Putin had even been misinterpreted to mean “overcharged,” which considering that America lost 1/5th of its uranium to the Russians for two spies of no relevance, I’d say “overcharged” is an understatement!

Once the spies had been safely sent back to Russia, it was now time to sign off on the very valuable Uranium One. Shortly before the deal was finalized, Bill Clinton had done a speaking engagement in Russia for which he was paid an unprecedented half-a-million dollars and during which, according to Russian sources, he discussed with Sergey Lavrov the importance of the Uranium One deal!
