Throughout his tenure as liaison to the maniacal and the clinically depressed, Olbermann has managed to cobble together 213 people in his audience so far by insisting that every Leftist from Antifa Park (Berkeley, CA) to Radical Islam Boulevard (Dearborn, MI) to Faux-Intellectual Way (Charlotte, NC) to Illegal Alien Avenue (Houston, TX) must rise up in RESISTANCE to the Trump presidency and raise a fist in venerated worship to all those who have broken the law before them!
Yes, it’s a grand spectacle and if it wasn’t for the absurdity of the straight face and leisure ties that Olbermann sports, it would almost pass for a YouTube video-of-the-week award.

As you can see from his face, he is smirking through half of the insults he is hurling at the president and then ingratiates himself to a red-faced Meghan McCain who is suddenly pretending to be a Right-winger in the same way that her dad pretends that after he returned from North Vietnam in the 1970s that there were no more POW/MIA soldiers left behind in the jungles to be summarily executed when the Pentagon didn’t follow up on its promise to pay for their safe return.
This tells me all I need to know about his sincerity to the “Resistance” and it heartens me to know that this sort of idiocy will continue unabated for the foreseeable future, in effect, ensuring that a Republican majority (one that has hopefully eliminated the Swamp RINOs) is a reality.

I believe in our ability to keep the government on the right path, if we do our jobs as voters, and are free from propaganda and paranoia. We have tools to assist us, the ballot box and the courts, and given the deep pockets of the Koch Brothers, I seriously question why the wrongdoing has not been meticulously exposed and prosecuted. After all, Obama had a hostile Congress, so just how could he get away with such nefarious deeds?
