The War on Christmas just got a little more literal this week, as Black Lives Matter took down a Christmas tree in Chicago.
Protests in Chicago over the Laquan McDonald shooting escalated Wednesday night with some demonstrators pulling down barricades and others ripping the lights off the city Christmas tree in Millennium Park.
Check out the video below and see if you can make sense of the protestors’ statement. As it stands, it seems the only statement they’re making is that they’re criminal vandals, who would rather strip other of their own joy than have a meaningful conversation.
