Senior politicians drew criticism last night after inviting a representative from the Muslim Council of Britain to share a platform with them following the London Bridge attacks.
The event was attended by Home Secretary, Amber Rudd, Shadow Home Secretary, Diane Abbott and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
What is known about The Muslim Council of Britain?
Britain’s largest Islamic organisation – which claims to speak on behalf of most of the country’s Muslim population – has undeclared links to the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood, according to a new UK government report.
Brotherhood supporters have “played an important role in establishing and then running” the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), a group of more than 500 Islamic organisations that is often deferred to the voice of mainstream Islam in Britain, the review says – finally recognizing what those in the UK counter-terrorism community have been warning about for many years.
What is the Muslim Brotherhood?
The Muslim Brotherhood is an international movement that views Western society with suspicion, describing it as “inherently hostile to Muslim interests”. Although the report does not find any links between the Brotherhood and terrorism in the UK, it does say that many of its leaders openly support Hamas attacks on Israeli civilians
The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrifying organization with influence in almost every major Western country. Former FBI Director Former James Kallstrom has publicly warned multiple times of the confirmed ties between the FBI, American political elite, and the Muslim Brotherhood. Former President Obama aided the Muslim Brotherhood and provided a platform for their hate much like London Mayor Khan is currently doing in the U.K.
British intelligence reports prove the MCB is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. Hence inviting the MCB to help solve the radical terror problems threatening London appears absurd and insulting to most British citizens.
They were criticised by leading Muslim reformists, including Maajid Nawaz, for sharing a platform with Harun Khan, Secretary General of the ‘Muslim Council of Britain’. Ed Husain accused the MCB representative of being a “Caliphate advocate”.

That’s a pretty scathing rebuke now Mr. Mayor from a fellow U.K Muslim. Leads some to think that even other Muslims consider you to be at the root of the Muslim Brotherhood problem terrorizing London. Even former U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron suggest back in 2016 that London Mayor Sadiq Kahn had ties to extremist Muslim groups such as ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood.
