Gingrich: Deport all Muslims Who Believe in Sharia Law

Frances Muslim population is nearly 7.5% of the population or 4.7 million people.  The terror attacks in Nice and Paris force all western nations to take a deep look into Islam and the radicalization that is taking place around the world.

In a study, Six Country Immigrant Integration Comparative Survey, published by the Berlin Social Science Center, immigrants in the countries of France, Germany, Holland, Sweden, Austria and Belgium were asked about Sharia Law.  It was noted that two-thirds of Muslims interviewed said that Sharia Law is more important that the law of the land.  Seventy-five percent believed that there is only one “legitimate interpretation of the Koran, which should apply to all Muslims” and almost sixty percent think their community “should return to ‘Islamic roots’.”

Terror attacks in Nice and around the world, along with aforementioned research, informs the opinion of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) when he says that those who believe in Sharia law should be deported from the United States.

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” following a terror attack that resulted in the deaths of at least 84 and injuries of over 100 in Nice, France, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA) attacked Sharia Law and said of those who believe in it in the United States should be “deported.”

“Let me start where I am coming from and let me be as blunt and direct as I can be — western civilization is in a war. We should frankly test every person here who is of a Muslim background, and if they believe in Sharia, they should be deported,” Gingrich said. “Sharia is incompatible with western civilization. Modern Muslims who have given up Sharia — glad to have them as citizens. Perfectly happy to have them next door. But we need to be fairly relentless about who our enemies are.”
