Colts Linebacker to Honor Trayvon Martin with Pair of Cleats

The story of Trayvon Martin is an old one, but one which appears to resurface every once in a while when the news is slow and the Leftist-bent cycle requires a jolt of electricity to get people riled and upset.

Perhaps, if you were living on Mars, or you were in Taliban captivity with deserter Bowe Bergdahl, you may have missed the news, but Martin was the 17-year-old teen who was encountered on the streets of Miami one dark night by a neighborhood watch volunteer, George Zimmerman.

After determining that the youth may have been up to no good because of his actions, Zimmerman dutifully called 911 to report the teen.  At the conclusion of the phone call, Zimmerman was told not to engage the suspect.  Zimmerman tailed Martin at a safe distance, but was at one point surprised when the youth inexplicably turned and rushed him.

Zimmerman was armed and following a pretty bloody brawl, managed to draw out his weapon and shoot Martin.  The teen tragically died.
