Chelsea Handler may make a living off of off-color jokes, but that doesn’t mean she values Americans’ rights to controversial speech.
This week, Handler tweeted about two Chinese men who were arrested in Berlin for performing a Nazi salute.
“Wouldn’t it be nice 2 have laws here for people who think racism is funny?” Handler added.
Not only is Handler’s opposition to free speech outrageous– it’s also ironic. She’s made plenty of racist jokes in the past. If her wish was granted, she might be one of the first thrown in jail.
