Breitbart Troops Threaten to Rally Votes for Impeachment if Trump Abandons Agenda

From Day One, Bannon was a target of a hostile media who tried to paint him as a racist, white supremacist and anti-Semite, all of which are outrageous and slanderous lies.

A key Bannon adversary was Kushner, with whom he clashed fiercely on personnel and policy decisions. On many of those, Bannon was outflanked by Kushner and his allies. In general, Bannon found Kushner’s political instincts “highly questionable.”

Bannon, who was the only West Wing advisor to publicly support the president’s response to the violence in Charlottesville, is especially galled at being scapegoated as an anti-Semite in its wake.”

Interestingly enough, Bannon was the one Trump adviser who advocated most strongly to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.   According to Bannon friends, Kushner, who is Jewish, blocked the move. Bannon also took a tougher stance against the Palestinians than others in the White House. He stayed home the day Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas visited the White House.

I’m not going to breathe the same air as that terrorist,” Bannon texted a friend.”

Bannon urged the president to not oppose Sinclair Broadcasting’s $3.9 billion takeover of Tribune Media, a position that concerns and angers Fox News owner Rubert Murdoch. It’s believed Kushner enlisted the aid of Murdoch to lobby President Trump to dismiss Bannon.

While Bannon has pledged to keep fighting on behalf of President trump’s populist-nationalist agenda, he also could become a tough opponent if the president abandons the positions that got him elected.

Breitbart’s staff is celebrating their chief’s return, and vow to carry the banner of populism and nationalism. However, if the president becomes too enamored of the policies advocated by Bannon’s adversaries in the White House, the Breitbart troops are more than ready to turn the tables on President Trump.

If that happens, said one high-level Breitbart staffer, “We’re prepared to help Paul Ryan rally votes for impeachment.”

The rise and rapid growth of Breitbart News as a global news force should give President Trump much to consider as he tries to move his agenda forward. Already speculation is growing that Bannon may be looking for a broadcast partner to create a true conservative alternative to Fox News, which is rapidly becoming CNN-lite.
